This is good stuff: it shows everybody that building furniture from pallets is a terrible business idea, but you can put some nice things together if you’re willing to spend your spare time on it. I know there are some kids on YouTube who turn junk wood into 4 figure pieces: good for them. They either really found some dupes who will pay two grand for a coffee table made from scraps, or the videos are staged in order to attract sponsorship deals. Either way, it’s BS – with a few exceptions, in which people have come up with very unique, artful pieces.

But you can absolutely build good things from free wood, I’m making something similar at the moment.

Lots of people dont understand the value and quality on custom made furniture especially like this. I love the way this turned out and you maximized what you could make with what you have. Hope you made lots on this table

I really like the vlog style of you woodworking videos. You really go through every step of the process. Also the table looks dope, I'm sure it will sell fast.

Quick tip for the indentation left by the Router bearing. Take a wet rag and lay it on the “dent” if time is a factor, use a damp rag and an iron. It will swell the dent out.

I watched another man build a table the same way and he used glue and saw dust to fill in the gaps and then he sanded it. worked like a charm.

I really the tools you’re using in this video, it’s a fresh reminder that you don’t need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on equipment to make really good, quality work. Cheers!

Nice Work Man! My bro inlaw owned a furniture store for 30 years... similar but smaller tables to this sold for $350 ALL day long. Nothing wrong with $500 Price tag.. I see it too often ppl undersell themselves and their work!

I plan to get into woodworking and I feel this video is like those games where you have skills and you just unlocked a new thing to craft and it’s way harder, but it’s new so you want to.
