Another great video James!💥 Me and the Hubby try to take our firearms out of cases to let them air out from time to time. But definitely need to invest in the extras to ensure no damage occurs. Appreciate that tip!

True and Valid points, however moisture wicking products are limited to time. Unfortunately mine are stored, as most folks in high humidity, basements and cold facing exposures on their home. I've ruined too much ammo and have had to add way too much oil to my arms in order to combat these issues. Hands down attention cleaning and only putting them in proper environments will solve these issues. Folks keep them at all costs at room temperature and vacuseal your long term ammo🦎👑🐟

I store my weapons in weatherproof totes with silica packs inside. I change out the silica packs and oil the guns monthly. It’s worked great for me!

I bought some 40 gram silica gel packs. They came in the little aluminum containers. 2 inch by 4 inch by 1/2 inch thick. The beads turn from orange to green when they need to be recharged.

Excellent points! Thanks for the video... 100% agree. I am guilty of improper storage. Not so much because I don’t know... But because I haven’t thought about the humidity factor! I like to clean and maintain my hunting and fishing equipment every few months. But... even within a short amount of time, rust can creep in. Thanks for reminding us to think about proper storage!
