Recently, we’ve been hearing a lot of talk about AI impact on Jobs and what the skills of the future will look like!

In this video, we are going to explore what the AI impact on jobs will be, identify which jobs in the future will be affected by automation and discuss how we can resist AI taking our jobs by developing the skills of the future!

We start by looking at how AI for business is going to impact the future of work, and more specifically, identify which jobs will be impacted by the business application of artificial intelligence and automation in the next few years…

We then ask the question - can businesses, workers, and social institutions pace in the same direction as AI and how can businesses help workers learn the skills of the future?

It’s a thought-provoking topic but the answer may lie in lifelong learning. The skills of the future will be constantly evolving, to stay ahead and protect our jobs from automation in the future workplace we must to, constantly evolve!

Topics covered in this video are:

The question I’ve been asking for years, and I have never received a definitive response to is, if you don’t intend on replacing the economic income of automation displaced workers who is going to have the money to buy all of these “automated“ products that you produce? Isn’t that going to damage the economy in the long run as far as the masses having some form of disposable income?
What is the replacement Economic model that all of these automation advocates plan on? No one seems to have a good answer on that one.
“Everyone needs to learn how to code” isn’t an answer because that is a definite finite replacement factor. What about the rest of us?

Nicely put! We forget the employer/worker dynamic is mostly set-up to serve the employer. That won't change ever (sadly) but, what will change are the types of employers.
AI empowered employers will be driven to drain their workers even more efficiently than now, just to compete. Ultimately, they will become the suppliers of ultra-cheap products for the ultra-underemployed consumer. And that's my point -there's a negative feedback loop built-in. :-) Let's hope we don't introduce legalisation which turns it into a positive feedback loop!

Some relevant points but I believe that the up skilling element is just not viable with machine learning developing at an exponential pace there is no chance of people getting ahead of the curve when it comes to machine learning that can evolve a thousand times faster than we can. There id not an area of human endeavour that that Ai is not intruding into even the creative arts and even cooking and painting. In the past industrial displacement did ford opportunities for people to re train just because the pace of change was manageable today this model is just not even close to the speed of progress.

I am a simple accountant in a company. The job is repitative. As mentioned by you AI will take jobs which are repitative in nature. What are the courses available for worke force like us, so that we keep up with pace.

CEO's / Board of Directors investing in Artificial Intelligence == Any job in that company goes in time. (Apply this to any company whether for-profit or non-profit)

Even if your job is for now "safe" directly from Ai ... it will be ffected indirectly as the more unemployment there is, the less there are clientrs and customers to spend money

Thanks for the insightful video! Good for you that education is in the list with jobs with low risk of automation. Yet, if AI can write our theses by 2030 do we still need education? ;)

Lol upskill...to what..What can we upskill to that ai and automation couldn't do a 1000x faster than any human could dream of.
Pls tell us what are the jobs of the future that cannot be automated.
I would love to know because I don't think anything will be safe.
