Anyone who thinks sideloading is a security issue probably doesn't realise that its completely up to the user to decide if he wants to side load and apple will 100% put the option to sideload behind a password or face ID

The fact that repair issues aren’t being talked about in this case is so frustrating. That’s something that really bothers me about apple. I like the user experience (I’d be better if I had more choice.. ) but the fact that all kinds of stuff is software paired is bs and they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that. Buff Jon, if apple would people use their computer phones like a computer, to compute things no matter the software they want to use on there, phones would be a lot more advanced nowadays. Just look at the Mac. You can use the hardware however you want, you can sideboard, u can put a different OS on it and much more. And I would say the Mac is a stable product. You get the recommendations by apple but are allowed to break out if you want to. Apple doesn’t limit the iPhone for the sake of safety, but because of their business and anti competitive behavior

Let's be objective here John and ask ourselves these questions :
- Why would Apple build the Blue bubble, Green bubble in the first place, as long as they can implement an open API or protocol to support those same features on Android, or vise versa ?
- Why would apple make their devices less repairable or don't offer enough repair support for third party repair shops and provide them with technical resources and required hardware to do so ?
- Why would apple practise monopolistic actions towards different business and different vendors ?

If you can answer these questions honestly, then you'll know why apple is very success, and not because of the eco-system, nor the garden they have, no it's because for the long run, Apple took some actions against the benefit of the end consumer

I don't get your argument. Instead of talking about the facts, you're making some tinfoil accusations. It's more than green bubbles vs blue bubbles. Messages are non-encrypted and uneditable when sent from an Android to an iPhone. No one is talking about Apple devices being great together, but why restrict other devices' compatibility with your phone. You talk about the EU's law being a trojan horse, bro, please make it make sense that a phone should use a lightning cable in this age? Are slow transfer speeds "part of the experience?" Poor video all through. What makes a great tech reviewer is keeping biased opinions to yourself and actually talking about the facts and how they play in people's lives. Then again, I don't expect much from someone who does a video of how a creator ruined tech videos by having quality videos.

It’s not that Apple is making “better” products, but the fact teens are locked in and can only reliably use iMessage in the states, because how it is set up, causes teens to buy iPhones.. there is no choice if you don’t want to be an exception. That is anti-competitive, because other companies cannot compete on technological merit.
