We designed a thinner device, without compromising on repairability and durability. After multiple design studies, we reduced the Fairphone 5’s thickness by 9% and ended up with a well-balanced design that sits well in your hand and feels sturdy and premium. We also managed to go up a notch regarding water and dust ingress protection with an IP55 rating. fairphone would be surprised how high a demand for such a phone is in India. People loved the replaceable battery phones before they were killed off. most don't have budget to buy $1000+ phones every now and then. just a little bit of local marketing highlighting this point and they can gain a fair share! :)

Anyways Kudos to the EU for making replacable batteries mandatory. Now i just have to try to make my phone last 5 more years and then the market will hopefully be full of great reparable options

I love this! But even better if you can return the audio jack. I love that it has expandable storage(2TB accdg to jerryrigeverything), besides being modular, of course!
