Actually, the topic is not Kaan; of course, Kaan is a beautiful plane and a 5th generation aircraft. What makes me the happiest is that Turkiye is producing its own aircraft. Kaan is just the beginning; tomorrow we won’t have to depend on anyone.

Well, one aircraft actually is operational with multiple air forces. The other isn’t even operational with its home nation. Not really any comparison for the moment.

When the KAAN is actually operational then maybe we can compare. But for now, the KAAN is just theoretical in performance.

İ don't know where you got the numbers, but 1.000 pounds internal weapons load for KAAN? Come on. Even the AKINCI drone has a 3.000 pounds weapons load and we are talking about a JET PLANE which is 21 metres long (almost 6 metres longer than the F-35). Be serious.

BS. No mention of the obvious KAAN copying the F-35 design.
No comparing of weapons available for each craft.
No analysis of their sensors, communications, and targeting capabilitites.
In short, almost worthless.

We have seen the kits/upgrades of the F 35
the KAAN is like a naked 5th Gen. btw
The US wants Turkey to get these F-35. And Turkey is willing to take them after all if it doesn't bring significant drawback.
If i was Turkiye i would skip F 22 and go for the Su 57.
