Turkey has earlier today flown its next generation jet fighter for the first time. Named Kaan, or ruler. it’s both Turkey's first domestic fighter jet ever, and its first so-called fifth generation fighter, having extensive stealth features. Actually, Turkey is only the 4th country in the world to have flown such a plane so far, after the US, Russia and China.

I remember around 10 to 12 years ago when Turkey makes a first air defense rocket with 5 miles range everybody's was making fun of them, but I wrote down in the comments today 5 miles 6 months after maybe 25 miles years later 100s of miles and today they are completed all kinds air defense systems and missiles to go over thousands km. First step is known how to learn about the system materials how to put together now we all know that they know how from now on peace of the cake

kaan is not the only jet we have flown in 2 years. we have also flown 2 unmanned fighter jets and a training jet.

How many of those criticizing here can develop their own 5th generation fighter jets and launch them in such a short time? Türkiye has already produced its own jet engine. Turkish engines will be used in the next fleet. Türkiye already makes 90% domestic and national production in the defense industry.

Some people are still trying to insult you. Moreover, how did you come to the conclusion that the engines could not be built, even though you were convinced that the rest of the plane could be built? Are the most critical equipment in a 5th generation aircraft only the engines? What is the most difficult? . Also, the engines are already halfway done. No aircraft engine is used without achieving a certain stability. And yes, the current engines purchased from America are among the best. Except for some heat signature, it does not change the fact that it is a 5th generation aircraft.
