In this video, you will learn about how to do an oil change as well as the top 3 things you need to make your oil change a lot easier. These are tips and tricks things that I've been using for awhile now that have made oil changes easier, and I've done countless oil changes. I performed an oil change on my 2011-2018 (2014) Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 3.6L V6. This should hopefully save some people from oil change scams and/or oil change fail. if you've had an oil change gone wrong then you need to pay close attention to this video! I used a Fumoto oil drain plug or oil drain valve to replace the OEM plug to prevent having the oil drain plug stuck or oil drain plug stripped. This new valve, you only install once so you don't have to worry about oil drain plug leak from the oil drain plug gasket , you just turn the valve once installed and let it drain into your oil drain pan. I purchased the Motiv X Tools oil funnel kit so that I don't need an oil funnel holder when pouring in the oil. I used the Amazon oil this time around because I've seen a lot of tests about amazon oil vs mobil 1 and amazon oil vs supertech or even amazon oil vs royal purple , but never up against Valvoline, so I am getting an oil analysis on both oils from Blackstone Oil Analysis to compare the two. I needed 6 quarts of this amazon basic oil so I got them in amazon oil bottle rather than jug. I hope this video is helpful to a lot of people.
