I got accepted in a cloud engineer internship yesterday and this video is very helpful because what I should do is to learn all these AI tools or create one to be a better cloud engineer. Great video again!

I can't say thank you enough for your channel. When I've been in doubt about accomplishing my goals and entering my IT career, your content has help me revive my determination and dedication.

You've got the best channel sharing AWS content on YouTube. Informative and in bite sized, which somebody like me can consume on the go. Keep inviting such knowledgeable guests.

I fundamentally disagree with Mike, and even his explanation doesn't make sense if you think about it. He says: "It is a tool that will assist people so that they are more efficient", i.e. it is a productivity tool that will enable users to do more, faster. So if today you need 30 cloud engineers to do the work but AI makes each of them 2x as efficient then you only need 15 engineers to do the same workload...so why keep all 30? It won't completely replace professional workers, you still need people who know what they're doing to double check what the AI created, but it will reduce the number of professional workers needed to do any given amount of work.

There are those that will say: "That just means they'll get more work done!" but businesses don't create workloads for cloud engineers for no reason, there is always a business priority that is driving that work and those priorities don't magically change just because workers are suddenly more efficient.

There is going to be an impact on the professional labor markets generally over the next 5-10 years as this technology improves and becomes more ubiquitous, likely increasing competition for fewer jobs and thus lowering salaries.

Great interview with positive message, Don’t panic and that’s the key. AI is all over for sure though. AWS itself is releasing so many generative AI integrations with other services like glue, quicksight to name few. Exciting times ahead.

Thank you Lucy. Great interview. I know the information is very new-for a lot of us, but any suggestions on classes on the Azure and GCP side as well since multi cloud is an issue?

I don't see companies willing to give Microsoft all their infrastructure. Instead i see companies hiring more AI developers to make their own tools

Does qualifying to be a solutions architect at one of the top 3 cloud providers mean you need to work with one of those 3 for the rest of your life? you are stuck with Amazon for life or can you freelance and hop between jobs and industries

Is freelancing as a cloud engineer a viable option or are all the cloud tech companies sourcing all the work? I want to work as a cloud engineer however i want to work according to my own schedule and pick the projects i do as opposed to being designated what projects to work on.

Hey lucy, how are you? I just wanna ask you one thing did you started your career as a direct cloud engineer or you were in another domain? Basically i got my internship as a cloud engineer but i work in It operation so im little bit of confused. We just monitor applications 😅 although is not that simple but still

Hey what's up Lucy!! Good to see you! Thank you for another awesome and informative video. Me personally, I don't think A.I. will take jobs but it will have an impact on the way we do business in the future so The question should be "What job roles may be replaced by A.I." for the simple fact of doing things more efficiently than a human. But that's down the line, so I'm not worried😊 Well as usual, I appreciate all that you do for us. Thank you for the free month of skillshare, that is very generous!!! Be well, be safe and Cheers!!!

What do you think on Cloud Support Engineer role? How it will impacted by AI?

Dear Lucy can you make a video explaining the recertification process a bit more in depth, I understand taking associate recertifies foundation, and professional to associate etc, but does speciality automatically recertify professional, associate and foundation altogether?
