She was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her thoughts. As a little girl in Norway she spent a lot of time alone in the forest, day and night, with the animals.

There are great artists out there, and then there are great people like Aurora who just happen to sing.
She has been through a lot in her life where she pulls a lot of emotion from. More than many of us will deal with in a lifetime.

One of her songs, "Little Boy in the Grass" is about a friend she lost in the 2011 Norway terrorist attacks.
Not something many want to listen to often, but an important one to know where she comes from.

She has an anti-suicide song "Lucky" and has also lost another in her life to suicide.
The 3rd friend she lost was due to a car accident.

Despite all that, she shows how to give pain it's place, but to move forward in life and find new ground to stand on.


We just don't get that from most artists who are popular for their skill or talent but have almost no background to draw from.
Aurora is just a down to earth person who has dealt with a lot, and at a very young age, can express it in her own way through music.
There doesn't seem to be a category for people like her.

She wrote this song when she was 11 years old. At that time she didn’t quite understand the meaning of the song, but as she grew older she knew that “home” meant home to her parents, safest place to fall❤️

Aurora is so unique, she’s a musical genius ❤️

Aurora is a Norwegian singer/songwriter/dancer and music producer.
She plays several instruments like piano, guitar, mandolin and harp (what I know of).

She’s born on the 15 of June 1996, she’s from a small place in Os outside of Bergen, and is currently living in her house in Bergen 😍

When she was 6 years old she found an electric piano in the attic after her older sister.
Because the power button was broken she had to play with only one hand, and she did that for years.

She began writing music without lyrics at the age of 6, and with English lyrics at the age of 9. A couple of her songs that she wrote at the age of 9 is some of her most popular songs.
They are “Lucky” and “I went too far”

Her family didn’t know about her talent until she was about 13 - 14 years old.

She’s self taught when it comes to singing and playing piano.🤩😍

Since you say you like how expressive she is, I recommend you check out "It Happened Quiet live at The Current". It's an incredibly beautiful performance, with a crystal clear voice from Aurora and lots of facial expressions and hand movement. :)

Also well worth recommending are "Lucky (live at Nidarosdomen)" and "Through The Eyes Of A Child (live at Nidarosdomen)". :)

I really hope u dive into the rabbit hole of Aurora, it’s an amazing journey, she is easily the best live performer of an musician that I know. Keep in mind that this was in 2015 when she was still new to performing live and was not very comfortable performing live, she has become much more comfortable with performing live. If I had to reccomend something it would be Through The Eyes of a Child live at Nidorosdomen or Daydreamer live at the HAIK concert, this concert was a suprise concert for Aurora and was played in the woods where she played as a child, both r amazing concerts to listen to
