She's something very special, for sure. I suggest you see her live at 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert, singing Murder Song. She's a great live artist, and she write her own songs with very profound lyrics.

Her live performances are perfection - possibly better than the album versions with the energy she brings to every performance. Interviews with Aurora are my favorite. She is .... indescribable. Magic and love wrapped up in a faerie princess. When I first discovered Aurora's music, it was quite a while before I could get through just about any of her songs without crying. Her music somehow finds what we have put "on the farthest place on our shelf" and pulls it out...because we don't need to have all that inside us anymore. All of her fans have pretty much the same reaction. Beautiful, soothing music that speaks to our universal soul and somehow lets us heal what we may have even forgotten needed healing!

Lovely reaction to your first encounter with Aurora. And yeah, your facial expression throughout the song told me everything I need to know. No words necessary my friend. Please believe me when I tell you that you haven't seen ANYTHING yet. As much as I love this song and video, it's not by any stretch of the imagination my favourite by her. Believe me, Aurora needs to be watched and experienced live. The way she catches your attention with her expression just can't be explained. She grabs you from the first note and doesn't let go until AFTER she's finished. It's THAT strong. Most peole describe it as hypnotic, and I fully agree.
Aurora turned 25 years old this Thursday, and she writes and produces all of her own music, and she started writing at the age of 9. Talking about writing songs from the age of 9. One of the songs she wrote at age 9 was "Lucky".

Aurora started playing music and writing songs (in Norwegian) when she was 6, and then in English when she was 9. She is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer. Her live performances are extraordinary. She is what you call a true emphat, very close to nature and down to earth, highly talented and highly intelligent, always positive and funny. She really does talk to her fans, whom she calls warriors and wierdos. She is an absolute free spirit.
In the video (background is her homeland), she was 17-18 years old. Now she is 25. There is almost no song of her that I do not love.
Aurora's movements are partly not rehearsed in her concerts. She is introverted and she shows her feelings through involuntary body movements. You can say that she doesn't dance to the music. Her music dances with her.
See hates backtracks, that's why she has a backround singer. Everything about her and her music is real. You get what you see, whether on stage or elsewhere.

Billie Eilish, she started her career because of Aurora. She was the trigger. Exactly this song.

Greetings from Scotland! You went through a few emotions just as most of us have and crying to an Aurora song is perfectly normal. You realise that you will NEVER be the same now that you have found Aurora! She is currently 25yo but she wrote this at around11yo. Aurora is one-of-a-kind, her perception of the world and music is completely different than anyone I have ever seen. Her vocals are related to an ancient Scandinavian method of herd calling known as "Kulning" and there are many video's online about this. Aurora is a beautiful, unusual and unique person who "feels" nature and music unlike anyone. Please watch some of her live performances for the full Aurora experience! She is someting special.... You are spot on.... She is loving, over sensitive, wierd, uniq, real, artistic, highly intelligent.... She will surprise you.... Again and Musical influenses? Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Enya.... And loves heavy metal!

Fun fact: She has 2 older sisters: one does her makeup, the other her clothes. She only uses what her sister makes, or she buy from vintage or second hand shops.

She co-writes some songs, but on an avrage there is 90% + Aurora.... Music, producer, video, .... Everyting....

Pro tips: Live stuff are mindblowingly fantastic. Video with NRK in the top right corner will not be blocked (Nidarosdomen and Haik Concerts....).

An amazing singer songwriter that has an uncanny knack of tuning right into a persons soul! Your reaction was very similar to mine i felt like an immediate conection! I dont have that feeling with many singers but she is definately one of them. So much so I felt compelled to book to see her live in the uk in 2022 of which i can wait to sample that wave of emotion she creates with her voice! She is gigging across the globe in big venues but from what i can see and hear from her interviews she likes small venues as she likes to get up close to the audience. She as a young lady seems to have been through so much hurt and turmoil and puts that into the words of her songs in such a way the audiences and her fans nicknamed warriors and weirdos have an immediate conection with. This girl is going to be massive the world over. Have a look at the Haik full version which gives a real insight into how talented aurora actualy is and the talent of the musicians that surround her.
