Warm and Cold Water Do Not Mix 🤯🤯

Let me explain… Cold water has a higher density than warm water because cold water molecules move more slowly and can thus create more hydrogen bonds and a more compact structure, thus increasing the density as the molecules are closer and more connected. This is why the bottom of the ocean is cold than the top! #ScienceExplained #WaterDensity #ColdWater #WarmWater #IceDensity #HydrogenBonds #ScienceExperiment #STEM #ScienceFacts #Chemistry #Physics #EducationalVideo #LearnWithMe #CoolScience #ScienceDemo #MolecularScience #TemperatureEffects #WaterProperties #DensityDifference #science #density

Who uses red for cold water then blue for hot😂

Fun Fact, frozen water is less dense than liquid water, meaning the pattern seen in the video stops at 32 degrees.

Warm water = less dense
Cold water = very dense

The reason why it's because the particles in cold water moves very slow and they are very close to each others. The particles in warm water moves fast and they are slightly far away from each others.
Whenever the warm water is put on cold water (shown on the video), the warm water can't be mixed due to the particles inside the cold water are very close to each others. However if you put cold water on the warm water, the cold water falls into the warm water and the cold water making contact with warm water becomes warm and then mixes with warm water.

In other terms
Cold water = strong
Warm water = weak
Warm water on cold water it stands on cold water but not mixing
Cold water on warm water, falls and become warm because cold water touch warm water and becomes warm.

That's just convection. They mix, but they tend to separate -- cold wants to go sink and hot wants to rise

NO, THIS IS WRONG, as you can see when the person adds red color it disperse faster than the other one thus the red one is hot and the blue is cold water as it disperse slower in comparison with the red, so when u put hot water and cold water together the hot water will go upwards as the cold will go downwards as it is more dense, so u initially if u put the red at the bottom and the blue at the top u will see that they will go the different direction (red on top and blue on bottom), I don't know but the editor is just stupid

The only question I have is why did the use red to represent cold and blue to represent warm😭😭😭

Heat rises so the cold water sense its cold it will heat heat up and form bubbles that'll travel up

For those who dont know warm water is at the bottom of the ocean and cold at the top and this is why Antarctica is melting.

If you’re wondering why they use blue for hot is because when you look in in the middle of fires it is blue. The largest stars in the universe are blue some of the time.

8 year old me seeing if cold water and warm water would mix in the bathroom while bathing:

if you flip it so warm is on the bottom it would kind of mix because the warm water would go to the top

Warm and cold do mix and the trick the guy did stops liquids from mixing

Is that the same thing as the pacific and atlantic ocean?

Guys they didn’t use red for hot and blue for cold it was the editors mistake

The thing is cold air and anything cold tends to collect the bottom of the floor and heat rises like the gas in nitrogen it’s falls but steam rises
