Hi G,
I've been to Hull a few times in my work travels and crossed over the Humber Bridge more than once.
Hull won the accolade of City of Culture during 2018/2019 and the art work on display in Hull Station was amazing! I did take photos at the time, I hope I still have them somewhere...
Take care,
Jon B.

I would like to see the Humber Bridge and of course Hull. The Humber Bridge which carries the A15 is such a amazing bridge that crosses over the River Humber. Such a marvellous structure especially for people that love railway bridges.

7:39 That was like when I was at Worcestershire Parkway when I could hear that electric motor noise of a Class 350 all the time and I was like, where the melons is that coming from?!

I rode on Hull trains for the first time recently, Kings Cross to Hull, mainly to visit Hull and Beverley Minsters. You should visit Beverley station which was lovely, the footbridge was ornate lironwork but was closed as they were repairing or replacing it .

Hi G, late to this party!! The views across the Humber Estuary were spectacular, I bet you could have stayed on the Humber bridge a little bit longer though. Stay safe

Thanks for this vlog
I am so old so I remembered when this bridge opened and we talked about magic bridge, which was the longest suspension bridge in the world and I think it was the
second longest in Europe

That was absolutely brilliant G. Hull is my home town though I've not lived there since 1989. Before you were born I suspect. Strange to see you walking through places I know so well. Brought back lots of memories. Used to go on the Humber bridge at night to do time lapse photos of the traffic. They had regular patrols then because so many people used it to commit suicide! I remember going on the pier with my Grandad in the 70s, waaay before you were born, eating winkles and mussels. When the bridge was opened I went with my school and we did the last ever trip of the ferry over to New Holland. The ferries were run by British Rail. So much to see and do in Hull, home of Wilberforce, the slavery abolitionist. Glad to see it has caught up with the times and enlightenment because it wasn't like that when I was a teen and in. My early 20s. If you stood up for a mate who was gay you'd get your head kicked in. I know because I did. We used to wear the red ribbons to show solidarity. That was enough to earn you a smack in the mouth too. Thankfully things have moved on.

Great video, I really enjoyed it.

Come down to my part of the country and see the 2 Severn Bridges and have a ride through the Severn Tunnel while you are at it!

Another great video, rather you than me walking over that bridge though! Good luck with doing the Barton branch I've had two attempts to do it and been stuffed with bus replacements - the last one the train was cancelled 10 minutes before it was due!

Great vlog G, never been to Hull. The views of the river Humber and bridge are amazing. Some nice stations covered! I enjoyed watching as always.

Thanks for another wonderful vlog G. The light and the breeze on the bridge! So beautiful. My Dad was from Hull, and my childhood was punctuated by journeys on trains back there with my Mum. Dining cars and table cloths on the London trains, changing at Doncaster. I love the name Hull Paragon, what amazing pride it must have taken to name your station ‘Paragon’! Thanks again & keep up your life enhancing work!
