Ooh Fiber Spider, Christmas 2019 I took a bad fall and hurt my right hand quite bad. Have had two surgeries and have not recovered all my fine motor skills.mi had tried and tried but crocheting did not seem to be in my wheelhouse. I was very distraught about this. But I got some very good news, I am to be a grandmother! Well there was no way that I was not crocheting for this little angel. I put this tutorial on half speed and I did it. Thank you so much for this tutorial, it has meant the world to me.

Thank you for this tutorial! I have tried it several times with other instructors. You are an excellent teacher. I love the way you show the close-ups of the stitch as you are, crocheting makes it very easy to follow. I am also going to be trying the rectangle.

Oh, it's 4/16/23 & I do hope u hv recovered from ur fall & ur hand has healed 100%. Begin taking Glucosamine Chondroitin (per ur Dr's approval, of course) & it may help keep the arthritis to a minimum as u age. I'm 71 & it's good for lubricating the joints as cartilage wears down. Many things happen when u fall... trust me I know due to spinal issues worsening from a fall. So, NO MORE FALLING young man! Watch every step, never take chances & start healthy!! It's my 1st time to watch & ❤️ how u started the waffle pattern w/such enthusiasm!!! Yes, it is 'squishy & soft' & fabulous for a winter afghan. I also ❤ the fall colors & the blue multi as well... just ❤️ ❤ them both. Will definitely make an identical to ur fall one & only bringing it out in the fall. It won't be made this year but I'll start it this fall & finishfor next yr... it's TRULY GORGEOUS!!! ❤. Thank u so much for a GREAT video! I got a bit confused at first, but it's a sweet pattern & I'm enjoying it. Just started it in shades of grays (still uncertain how many rows I'll do b4 changing to the next shade & then will throw in 2 or 4 rows of black to pop it & separate the group of grays & then start over w/grays again till desired length. It's for a guy who delivers my bottled water. He bought a house & is single, so I thought he might enjoy an afghan. I asked him his fav colors & hope he'll like the design I chose... I do. I really enjoyed u teaching it to me!!! I felt so relaxed bcuz u just seem so yourself & made it fun! I crocheted a waffle stitch hat last winter in an ombre...turned out beautiful! Just the right thickness. I was watching a post trying to explain how to do the square. Didn't make a lot of sense. Then I found you!! You explain everything so well.

THANK-YOU FIBER SPIDER! This blanket is wonderful and squishy and squashy! I am making this for my 25 year old son, whom has moved back home during this hard time in this world to help me with my husband, his Dad, whom has had a few strokes, and is high risk. I am working at home for a Financial Institution, so it is the least I can do to make such a beautiful blanket for him for everything he does for our family. IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!! With this virus keeping everyone home, I've been crocheting ALOT. I bought a spool of the 100% cotton and decided everyone was getting trivets this year for Christmas. I do 10 rounds of this waffle stitch. Pots come right off the stove of out of the oven and on to the trivet.
