I wish my son would grow into a self motivated youth like you in the next a few years. I have been using the same principles like your mom. And he also lived in China with grandparents for a couple of years when I tried to establish a stable life as a first gen immigrant.

Love your mom so much. The first generation of immigrating to America must be very hard.Maybe she can talk about her immigration story in her channel.

I love how your mom has given very educated answers. A truly wise mother would not judge her child’s worth based on her school’s brand name. 这才是一个自信家长的样子!
