When Blondie says "Were you gonna' die alone?" and then the music kicks in followed by them walking up the centre of the street is epic. The stunt falls in this scene are fun to watch also.

I love how he makes the sign of the cross like “in the name of the father, son, yadda yadda, whatever.”

I love the subtle little hint at 1:19 Angel Eyes men are battle hardened veterans, and they realize that's a cannon ball coming for em, and they duck, while Blondie and Tuco are wondering "what the hell is that?"

I love Tuco's reaction to Blondie's question at the beginning, like he's both confused and relieved that he doesn't have to handle this alone.

Tuco and Blondie actually make pretty good partners when they're not spending all their time double-crossing each other.

0:10 the music kicks in, Blonde nods with the head, and they begin to walk, epic.

Clint was the star and for obvious reasons, but Eli Wallach stole this movie -- such a great actor and character.

The forgot the best part this scene. Before the shooting began, Blondie tells Tuco that Angel Eyes is nearby and that he is not alone they are five with him. Tucos answer is "So thats why you came to Tuco, well it doesent matter, I kill them all". So uncrompomising.

eastwood wanted and made his character a quiet, reserved individual wallach took advantage of this opportunity the whole film, hamming it up at every possibility.

This scene has always been epic for me also - the whole movie is.
Leone's directing, the actors and the music are a perfect combination.
I believe what also contributes greatly to the movie is the superb camera work and the incredible back-drops, which, by the way, were probably constructed mere days before the actual filming. It really does look like an old town that has been shelled and abandoned within the last few hours in haste. In fact its eerie when you take time to notice the small details like the abandoned jail and warm bath water in the hotel.
Its ironic that, in one interview, Eastwood later claimed that during the filming he felt that the movie would either be a great success or total failure - probably the latter but at least he'd get a free trip to Spain.
Yet we're still watching this movie half a century later.

0:40 sometimes you aim for 10 seconds with a long gun at someone, miss, and get flicked by their pistol

Tuco reading the note" see you soon..idi, id". Eastwood takes the note away from Tucos hand and reads it " Idiots". Eastwood gives note back to Tuco " its for you"
