Movement Lesson™ is a unique holistic approach specialized in mathematics of movement structure and development. We look at the past, present, and future milestones to explain a child's movement patterns. Using a 6 step movement process, we change movement patterns into movement combinations that allow for more optimal functioning. While primarily used with babies and children, ML can be used on adults too.

This channel does not support traditional ideals about child development. Unintentionally, traditional ideals do not have your child's optimal development in mind. Movement Lesson teaches you the functional milestone movements and sub-milestone transitional skills that must happen in the body for any person to experience their optimal development!

This is incorrect. Baby is standing, rolled over and backwards by 6 months, did plenty of tummy time. This is all her opinion.

My 9 month old crawls like this and she also never had issues rolling over she rolls fast as hell both ways and gets into sitting position by herself ! Kids are in fact different!

My daughter just started crawling and crawls like this. She got plenty of tummy time. Grabbed both her feet and can sit up from lying on her back without getting on her stomach first. Also doesn’t appear to favor one side and her vision is good. Had to stop her from trying to pick up an ant today. Getting conflicting information some say it’s normal and some say it’s cause for concern

My daughter is 26 years old. I had NO IDEA this was ever an "issue". She always crawled like this. Only like this. She was very advanced. Started crawling at 5 and half months, walking at 9 and a half months. Always ahead of schedule for mobile skills as well as verbal.

Sharing my experience! At first I had no worries and then this video really scared me and I truly thought something could be wrong with my baby. Nope. He was on time for everything. He was able to come up from laying down no problem. All the things. He just preferred crawling this way (never crawled normally) because he moved on our slippery floors WAY faster and he could hold something in his hand while crawling. He walked holding onto furniture from 9 months (this is why his doctor had ZERO concern about his crawling). Started walking a bit at 11 months. Fully walking just before turning 12 months.

My 10 month old has vision issues and she crawls like this. She tilts her head to the side too. Lol, she goes back to to see the specialist in 2 weeks to see what they're going to do about her eyes. Her pediatrician says that it may just be weak muscles behind the eye. She's seen so many babies with the same issue. These babies also started crawling late and crawled just like my daughter. I'm so glad I found this video because I was telling my husband that she crawls weird and he said she's fine, every baby just starts out different. 😐 Of course I had to google it and found that there could be an underlying issue.

I have a 19 year old that never crawled, I have a 17 year old that didn't want to crawl so he would alternate which leg he crawled with and absolutely no issues. My 7 month old baby has been crawling since 5 months old alternating on which foot he favors because he don't want to.

All of my kids met or exceeded milestone markers. My 7 month old is already walking and absolutely no concern from his pediatrician to anything that you talked about in your video.

Everyone is different. Some people do have issues and this is a marker for some but not for all.

I’m worried, my baby just started crawling like this! I’m a first time mom. At first I kind of blowed it off but after doing my research I’m learning it could be a cause for concern. He started getting on all 4s about 6 1/2 months. By 7 months he was crawling it was very wobbly and slow also coming up on his feet a lot like an elevated plank but he got better as time went still pretty slow. But he also by the end of 6 months discovered using his surroundings to stand which he prefers over crawling anyway. He is now ending 8 months and just started to crawl with one leg which helps him go super fast one day when he was trying to keep up with my 2 year old niece. He is also still pulling to standing position and grabbing for me in standing position. He also likes to walk around the table very fast while holding of course. He just has so many changes the chart you showed is kind of hard for me to differentiate but I would like help.

Can we have any updates from people who were affected by the scaremongering in this video? I think it’s pretty horrid language used to say that this type of crawl means the child will end up with issues down the line. Parents are vulnerable emotionally and to place fear into them for their child’s well-being isn’t the right vibe for me. Then again, how else would you make money…

Hi, My 14 months old prefer to crawl by using left leg. He always push his right leg forward to speed up. Sometimes he can crawl bh using both knees, but most of the times prefers to use only left knee. He started standing without any support from last month. Will it impact on his health in the future? Please let me know.

Are there any types of issues found in adults that can be attributed to this?

Totally not true. He crawls with one foot walking but he rolls over on both sides. He stands up easily and jumps up and down (not leaving the ground). He stood up at 7 months without help. He sits without falling over. He crawls a bit less than his sister did. This is scary.

Our 11 month old has been "normal crawling" for the better part of 4-5 months. All of a sudden today, he is crawling with 1 leg out. Is there something we can do? Is it a phase?

Well, I am very worried now. I sent you an email because I do not have Facebook. I would like to schedule a consultation for my 9 month old that has been crawling like this since he began crawling. My two year old daughter only crawled this way and she has Autism. I was hoping that my son would not have it either but if he does I would rather find out now and begin getting him help ASAP.

My baby does this once in awhile, but crawls normally at other times. What’s that about?
