Man, they announced this back in 2007 and was all over the media that they would be producing some in a few years. Now that they are actually producing them, this is the first time I am hearing of it and it's been a year from what I am learning since they have been producing full electric.

In San Diego I ran across a Shelby Daytona kit with an electric drive train.  Sick looking car, it might have even be a hydrogen fuel cell but it was definitely not running gasoline.

Motor looked like a Warp 9 or 11. I dont get how it can have 250HP, the datasheet says something like 30kw...even less for the 9".
Or does it gain in torque and HP by more voltage?

So it has a 220hp motor but the on board batteries store 35kw? wouldn't that deplete pretty quick? I'm trying to learn what you can get away with with electric cars..
