If this cop was willing to pull this in front of so many cameras, what crimes has he committed when the cameras weren't recording? Or are we suppose to believe this was the very first and only time he's ever broke the law?

Something about RCMP reviewing themselves seems like a stacked deck

Cp24 labeling them as far right is troubling.

Just goes to show you how much rights you really have in Canada as a private citizen.

What a joke! The officer, along with the woman walking with Freeland (No irony, thats her name), used the post and "kettled" the REPORTER to allow him to walk into the officer's path. The cop not only stood his ground but looked to move forwards to make contact with his 'victim'. Shame on the authorities.

It was no accident that he was reported as a commentator instead of a journalist and the mentioning of his past arrest and throwing in the " far right" label. Pretty much every government funded media report on this did the same thing.

Clearly the RCMP can smell a lawsuit coming (as it should be) Entrapment and wrongful arrest.

If anything, the cop assaulted him by stepping in front of him not the other way around. If this isn't an absolute abuse of power I don't know what is!

You can see the joy on her face leading up to the arrest.

It's easily seen Freeland's Aide was well aware what was happening. She ran ahead, crossed in front and placed herself beside the pole, thus forcing the journalist to one side of the pole. The unidentified security then proceeded to run into the journalist and arrest him.

well, if the RCMP is investigating it's probably all going to work out just fine.... for the officer

The fact that Freeland saw the whole thing and walked on by smirking says it all. Imagine her as PM. Elite, entitled, and tone deaf.

As a retired LEO I am appalled at this, clearly the security detail was looking to get rid of the reporter, yes reporters can be a pain to deal with but not like this
That reporter is going to have a nice cheque coming his way from his lawyer

CP24 has to add the "far right" and jibes at the end, of course. Trudeau money at work.

Expect to see more of this behaviour from the RCMP. Once people start waking up to the illusion of democracy, the government will have no choice but to use force. "We must prepare for a more angrier world." - Klaus Schwab

Thats hardcore journalism. He deserves an award. It takes balls to get arrested repeatedly like that.

This is disgusting. My parents left *communist* Russia and came here for this?!

That video very clearly shows that RCMP officer assaulting that journalist.
His motive to physically block the reporter was obvious.
The RCMP officer should be the one arrested and charged.
