This is scientific proof it's impossible to explain the Special Theory of Relativity in a short video.

The example you gave is an utter failure

Okay let's say that two events occur that are spaced apart from each other spatially, but both however are positioned at the same specific point in the dimension of time of the 4D environment know as Space-Time. Thus here we will say that relative to the dimension of time, both of these events are truly simultaneous events. That is our starting point, the actual occurrence of two events. However, from a different frame of reference, which is determined by what direction the observer is traveling within the 4D space-time environment, event A may seem to occur before event B. Or from another frame of reference, event B may seem to occur before event A. But what is important, is that two real events did occur at one specific point in the dimension of time, and that therefore from Space-Times point of view, they were truly simultaneous events. Meanwhile though, there is no way in which any observer in any frame of reference can know if their observation of the timing of the two events, is the correct one. But again, something absolute has to occur in the first place, that can then be view differently, by different observers.

There are 3 lights in the form of a triangle. A, B, and C are lights and are stationary with respect to each other. S1, S2, S3 are spaceships. S1 is moving from B towards A. S2 is moving from C towards B. S3 is moving from A towards C. A, B, and C flash simultaneously in the frame of reference that is at rest relative to these lights. So in the frame of reference of S1, A flashes first followed by B flashing. In the frame of reference of S2, B flashes first followed by C flashing. In the frame of reference of S3, C flashes first followed by A flashing. So the sequence of flashing is A, B, C, A. But wait! A flashed first. How can it flash last? How can A flash both first and last? It only flashed once in the frame of reference that is at rest relative to these lights. Therefore there is a paradox.

Another way to explain it is that when you are moving, time slows down for you. So if you and a friend collide in an accident at the same time, then you get on an airplane and your friend stays at the scene, and both of you agree to ring a bell exactly an hour after the accident according to super accurate clocks you both have, the bells won't ring at the same time! AND the one who stayed behind will age a tiny bit slower!! Actually slower, not just how it "feels".

It doesn't seem true because the time distortions are very very small unless you are going much faster than any plane can travel. But GPS signals like those used by your phone have to adjust for the effect in order to work correctly. It's a very real effect that has been known since before the invention of sliced bread, and it has been proven innumerable times with great precision exactly as Einstein discovered.

Crazy huh?

It's normal to be skeptical because it sounds ridiculous. Everybody thinks it's nonsense until they learn how it was proven. And everyone who studies it comes to understand and believe it, even if they have to do the experiments to see it for themselves.

But if you think THAT is the strangest thing about nature, wait until you learn about quantum physics :)

Thanks for the lecture. Let me ask you a couple of questions: Can we assume the following: is the ordered vibration of gravitational quanta the same as light? Is there a contradiction in direct experiments with this proposal? Thank you in advance.

i’m so glad you did a graphic like this, because when I studied physics as a physics, major and example of reference frame was given as a train, and something happening with the train is traveling, and maybe a lightning strike or some thing, and I never could really fully grasp that concept. Even with this graphic, you kind of have to think about it for a couple seconds.

2 ships passing each other.
Ship1 at rest at top:

Ship2 at rest at bottom:

The moment when T1 is lined up with N2 must be the same moment in both frames of reference because there is only 1 moment when this occurs. There was some point in the past when N1 was lined up with T2 according to ship 1 but not according to ship 2. That is impossible thereby proving that special relativity is nonsense.

Recently, there is a new book on Amazon titled 'Universes Are Black Holes.' The axioms and mathematical derivations in this book are much simpler than those of relativity. In addition to easily deriving all the classical conclusions of relativity, such as time dilation, length contraction, gravitational lensing, and planetary precession, it claims to also explain dark energy and dark matter. Can these experimental verifications really prove the correctness of relativity? Could you provide some insight on this? Will theory of relativity be revised finally? Thank you.

This is basically why you can see yourself in any direction you look in a mirror, I’ve always thought is it waiting for me to move because I can see thing that are outside of my vision if I move, meaning that they are there I’m just not observing it, so if someone else was to look into the mirror they would do a different image because of their difference in spatial position

I like how all the people in this comment thread are so certain when they have no understanding of the actual subject being discussed.

It’s not just appearance. They do occur in different order to different observers and no observers perspective is any more or less true than another. Trippy!!!

But if you tilt your phone at the initial graphic, it is hard to see what they’re talking about

The time interval of the moving airline is different. The people in flight are in a different frame of reference. The order in which they occur is not something I understand. The people in flight are in a space where time is larger interval.

Because of time zones. It's obvious.

"Dear Sir/Madam. Good-morning. How are you? I trust you are well."
"Einstein, is over-rated. He put all his energy into science. He had a peaceful existence. Thank God. Nothing went wrong for him. Even the Women loved him. I on the other hand am a genius, self-taught. I will never get the recognition in the West as Wealth & money determines respect one is given, they frown upon Poverty and lack. They don't believe in struggle because everything was given to them, it's easy for them, they've never worked hard and God loves them. The Theory of Relativity, makes sense. It's just a natural phenomenon, cause and effect, action and reaction. We live in the World.Thank you for your Video. God bless Einstein."
Yours Faithfully.

But by changing the angle you change the location of A B and C which just makes it inaccurate or wrong.
