How to Get the Best External Components in The First Descendant

Today we’re talking all about external components. What are the best attributes (stats) and rolls you can get on each piece, what you should look for, and where to farm them in The First Descendant.

External Components are pieces of gear, attached to your descendant, that increase your shield, HP and defense. They can also come with unique attributes that boost your loot drops and help you with farming. They each have a unique shape and name: Auxiliary Power, Sensor, Memory, and Processor.

Something to keep in mind is some of the set pieces are better than normal. For instance, the bravery/venom/annihilator sensors get DEF of 4683, where as normal sensors are 2385. Also for the memory, only the annihilator memory pieces get a full 646 HP instead of 484.
