How to take apart a stuck clarinet joint

How to "crack" the vacuum seal on a clarinet joint when it's frozen. I learned this from Lohff & Pfeiffer, repair technicians out of both Denmark and the USA.

If it's really stuck, pretend like you're about to snap it in half, and as soon as you hear a "click, " twist. Don't, like, do it over your knee or anything, but you might have to really give it a bend. Then, take it to a repair technician! They can sand down the shoulders JUST enough so it doesn't stick anymore.
