MY ACCUTANE JOURNEY

My accutane journey has come to a close. It’s been a JOURNEY FRIENDS. Anyone who struggles with acne understands how damaging it can be to your mental health. It’s truly impossible to explain unless you go through it. I have been so grateful to take this medicine to that I really didnt like to complain about side effects. I will say this year I’ve been more tired than I’ve ever been on this medication and I’m so excited to get my energy back in the coming months 🥹💛 accutane is amazing worked so well for me but it truly is brutal and needs to be a last resort. I am in no way promoting accutane to be clear, just sharing my journey 💛 have you ever struggled with acne?

I have cystic acne. It's well controlled now that I'm MUCH older, but when I see blemishes like that I'm not disgusted. I only worry that the person is suffering; mine just hurt so badly. Your clear skin shows me painlessness, and while that's a relief, your acne doesn't change how lovely you are. Never has.

People who say that act like acne is our choice. As someone who struggled with acne for years while I was using good skin care brands and expensive stuff and just not seeing good results, it’s really hurtful. Some people are just made different. It’s like being mad at someone for having diabetes, they didn’t choose that and their trying their best to manage it. Maybe that’s a bad example, but it makes me mad that someone would say someone was ugly because of something that isn’t their fault and isn’t their choice.

I have been Struggling With Acne for about 5 years .. and every time I started using skincare my skin break out badly so i decided to let it be like this and i focus more on my mental health and started ignoring these acne cause I'm pissed now .. btw I'm a teenager I have struggling with mild acne when I was in 6th grade .. but now I love myself moreee as I started seeing these pretty womens on social media who is making me love my skin as it is yeah I get so much hate and people bully me over it ! But idfc and i love myself so I advise you people too to love yourself as you are ! ❤️❤️❤️

I had some bad acne in 5th and 6th grade, and nobody really said anything to make fun of me, but one of my friends in 5th grade pointed out 3 pimples that were lined up on top of my eyebrow (sorry, ik that's kinda gross) and started laughing about it because she said she had never seen anything like it. That made me SUPER self conscious about my acne for a while. And this girl was a very nice girl too, and ik she wasn't trying to be rude, but words can hurt.
