Shapiro was in the top 3, just didn't get picked because Walz had BETTER CREDENTIALS- experience as a teacher, football coach, soldier, congressman, Governor in 2nd term. Being Jewish not a factor as Harris choose a Jew for her husband!

Get over it! I’m Jewish and just because someone is Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist etc., does not mean they would be the best candidate for the VP of the USA. I applaud VP Kamala Harris for her informed best decision to keep on track for making this country whole again! I think all the nominees for VP had something to give for helping our country. In the end it is VP Harris’s final decision, NOT anyone else’s!!!

But there is a big difference between the two points. You journalists should be smart enough to figure that out.

Shapiro is a fine person, and his goodness and decency will carry him in his career.

Josh wasn’t disqualified. He was more than qualified. The problem is that you can’t have 2 or 3 vice presidents. There were many great choices for the VP pick. Walz will do great.

Why can’t it just be that she likes Walz the most? He is a veteran, was a social studies teacher, coached football and his school’s first GSA, and got a lot of things done in government including meals for school kids and other progressive issues. He is also super engaging. I didn’t know anything about Shapiro, but everything I did know about Walz made him my #1 choice.

He is not a loser. Why do we always have to read negative things there was only one position open for vice president, and she gives a very thoughtful and thorough time. For her decision. Both of them are great guys. She chose the one with the most experience in the most diversity in his background in terms of being a vet, a governor, and a congressman, as well as a decent human being. it doesn’t make anyone a loser.
