Imagine a VP candidate who is an authentic rural politician, a popular governor who consistently wins split-ticket Republicans. Now imagine that same governor is a darling of the left, with an impeccable record on LGBTQ rights and abortion. THEN imagine this same guy is one of the most effective communicators in the party, who made an off-hand remark that changed the whole party's messaging!! Well, good news, he's real, it's Tim Walz and I sure hope she picks him!!

I am not a Josh Shapiro fan. He seems hard nose, rough, and would walk over anyone. Manchin endorsed Josh Shapiro and I don't trust him.

If the youth vote means anything to them they won't go with Shapiro. For different reasons I don't care for him either.

Shapiro seems to come with the biggest potential rewards and the biggest risks. Walz seems to be the most likable but the optics aren’t good if she’s focusing on a youthful ticket. Beshear seems to be laying low but I wonder if he could strengthen her support in Appalachia which would help democrats down ballot and more importantly, reverse their decline in similar regions. Kelly seems the most serious and presidential and may reassure voters who have questions about taking a chance on the first woman president. Harris has a tough choice to make in a very short amount of time.

If he's for vouchers, he's not perfect. Public education has been stepped on and pushed down long enough. It's time to increase school budgets, not decrease them. It's time to increase teacher pay, attract better teachers and keep the best teachers. If folks want to send their kids to private schools, that's on them. That's their choice.

With Josh Shapiro's stance on the war in Gaza, they would lose a huge part of the youth vote. I think picking him would be disastrous.

Shapiro is not the right candidate. Mark Kelly brings everything a president needs on day one. Who would you rather have a politician with baggage or someone that has been to space that can keep their cool in a crucially important life threatening situation for the nation?

If Pennsylvania is in the bag because Shapiro has popularity then let him rally the troops in PA.

WHAT WE NEED is a border state Senator that's been raised by two individuals who raised him with such incredible moral character and work ethic. Sen. Mark Kelly would be ready on day one to be president for all Americans.
