Something that I notice: at least in Europe the southernmost extensions or appearances of ice sheets are to be found in places that now have relatively little difference in seasonal temperature, like Ireland, England, Denmark. and southern Norway. The difference between 5C and 0C in the winter is between cold rains which flow into rivers and heavy snow squalls. Over about 75 years, as summers get shorter and chillier, winter snows do not melt enough and stick around all year. They then accumulate, the albedo rises, and snowfields become ice sheets. The opposite also applies in warming.

I would like to know the average temperatures in Rome at least in January and July in those years. Are they there somewhere?

Brilliant! But this only shows a small part of Europe, mainly France, British Isles, buts of Spain, Germany, Benelux. Can you please do the same for North Europe, South Europe/mediterranean, East Europe - in fact whole Europe from Urals to Greenland?

I notice that "snowy" winters start to vacate the Netherlands and northwestrern Germany as Doggerland is inundated with the formation of the North Sea.

@2:35 "5.7°C warming in 400 years (5 times faster than modern warming)" Not exactly. According to NOAA's 2020 Annual Climate Report the combined land and ocean temperature has increased at an average rate of 0.13 degrees Fahrenheit ( 0.08 degrees Celsius) per decade since 1880; however, the average rate of increase since 1981 (0.18°C / 0.32°F) has been more than twice that rate. With such a rate (0.18 per 10 years), which by the way is so far increasing, we get 7.2°C per 400 years, and that in fact is more that the greatest warming recorded in the last 21, 000 years. 🙂
