It’s so difficult to handle hummingbirds without hurting them because their bones ore so brittle. It’s very impressive that this man was able to help like he did. Usually special training is required to work with these beautiful creatures

That was a life saver, birds in general especially hummingbirds dont have a whole lot of blood, one drop can cause HUGE issues. It's an amazing feeling when the little one trusts you. Nice to know there are a good people out there.

My backyard is basically like a hummingbird sanctuary. It’s like their bar, and sometimes they’ll fly into windows or do that mini hibernation thing they do and we’ll watch over them. In the year of 2020, one crashed into our window and upon impact broke his wing. We kept him alive for another two months after that. I’d take him outside to feed, he had his own personal hummingbird feeder. We named him hiccup and he made my day every time I heard him chirp. These birds are so simple and beautiful ❤❤

Was taking trash out at work and happened to look down, there was a hummingbird just sitting on the ground, thought it had hit our window so I picked it up to put it in the bushes. It say on my finger for a good 3 minutes before finally flying away. I felt like a disney princess, cause even family pet birds never sit on me at all.
