This book from 1932 deserves to get reprinted.

"Les ames confiantes" (English: The Trusting Souls) hasn't gotten reprinted since being published in 1932 and translated into German in 1937. In my opinion it is a hidden treasure of Catholic education and edification.

There are no free online versions of the book available.

I think this book in English was called "Sanctity through Trust" by Joseph Schrijvers, (sometimes I have seen his last name with a "y" in place of the "ij" as Schryvers). The only place I found this book in English is at the National Library of Ireland, published by Mercier Press in 1953 in Cork Ireland. I have only seen that this book is apparently there, the NLI, on their website; i haven't actually seen the book itself as I live in the US.

There are so many books that need a reprint, especially older German books. I was fortunate enough to have bought dozens of rare older German books from 1945 or earlier, the earliest being a book on saints from 1888 by Georg Ott: „Von den lieben Heiligen Gottes“. I would suggest you buy that one if you can find a good copy. There were several editions of it, mine was a later one.

I also have a few other rare books you may or not be interested in, like a Catholic military song and prayer book of the Wehrmacht by the Catholic Field Bishop Franz Justus Rarkowski, as well as one for the Kriegsmarine. Those are some of my favorites I own and have read.
