From what I understand about Solar Roofs is that the downside is the outside temperature around the exterior of the house on clear sunny days is ~8 degrees hotter. Now if they could make the roof white that would cool down the surrounding area, just like has been proven in Australia.

In the early 90's I was rear ended in a little Suzuki 800 hatch by a Toyota four wheel drive on an 80 kph road. I was broken down at the lights and stationary due to bad fuel and the Toyota did not see me or brake before the collision. I was rammed out across the intersection, and when the dust settled my rear wheels were sticking out behind the crushed body of the car. I walked away with a small cut under my eye from my glasses due to the impact.

Dude, you're going hate me. I have 700 miles on my first Tesla, a MYLR and got 12.4.3 today. Still getting used to auto pilot and there were still a bunch of interventions, but, I'd say it seems a bit smoother.
