This is the best part of tmux : windows.
This with i3 (in my case) that you can put whatever of the window you've opened full-screen.. Changing from one to another window, with vim opened.. vim with his own number of tab opened, it's a must. Can do all on one screen. Oh, i forgot.. i have tabbed management of windows also with i3, so it's really the best possible in my view !
And, not to forgot... when launching tmux, the configuration file already with all the windows each of them pointing to the right/defined directories.

For extra fun you can use emoji in the window names.

Tmux puts bash on steroids. Its great for project development. I use it but it’s good to watch a well produced refresher tutorial.

Hello,
I really like the videos you make, both tutorials and others.
One suggestion for tutorials like the Tux one.
It would help if you could provide the keyboard shortcuts in the description or somewhere else eg. as a cheat sheet at the end of the video. Also if you use on of those apps that show what you type on screen I think that would also help a lot with the shortcuts.
Very nice job once again!

I'm on part 3 and you talk about the prefix key. I don't have one. Finely went back to part 1 and saw you were using the ctrl key. That's the problem Linux videos, every one has their own terms and then I'm lost and spend time figuring what they mean. The first Linux OS that worked for me was Mandrake in the late 90's. So I will Distro hoop tell windows dies.
