Holy crap! That actually worked! Your the man. I thought my phone was messed up, until I stumbled onto your video. Fixed all 4 charging cords. All were like that. Now, thanx to you, I have 4 perfect cords! Thank you!!!

All these many years later, the solution found me.
So much better than those people who tell you to clean out the fuzz and lint inside the device port.
Thanks!!

I knew it was the contacts but always thought they must have broke off or wore down....I have literally bought dozens of these cables over the years....and now after 5 minutes I've just fixed three of YOU

Dude! Seriously. Just got new cables in the mail. Now I won't likely have to buy any more unless they change the standard. Many thanks.

I was almost going to have to give up my favorite charger for a replacement. Major life saver! And really appreciate the lack of exposition; short, sweet, and to the point!

Dude you ROCK! I was about to go buy two vape batteries, but I took a look on YouTube. I got so lucky because it never occurred to me it might be that all the USB wires are ancient. I just thought the issue was the batteries. Forty bucks saved!! 😊👏👏👊

Okay mate, you win the 'simple fix' for this problem. I replaced the port on my son's Samsung tablet a couple of times which involves screen removal from the front, but I was never convinced that the port was busted because afterwards the cable still didn't seem right, and up until now it could hardly hold a charge connection. After trying 6 different cables I tried your method and the cable is solid and the tablet charges perfectly even if wiggling the cable. The trick is harder to do on an official Samsung cable but worked readily on a cheapo cable. Thank you!!!

Wow. I was just about to buy a new bluetooth speaker and throw my Bose Soundlink out, because the port seemed really loose and I had to turn it this way and that to get it to charge. Even walking past was enough to break the connection. Thank you— you just saved me a lot of money! The connection feels solid and it’s charging!

Brian, I came into our kitchen bitching about my favorite cable being loose and not being able to grab the prong...I said, "It's a major pain in the ass that my favorite cable doesn't stay in my phone anymore. 'm going to see if there are any instructions on how to fix it." Bam! Your video popped up! Clicked on the video in google search and it started at "It's a major pain in the ass...". My son started laughing and said "He just said what you said". So, I restarted the video to the beginning and you say "Hey everybody, Brian here". My wife says..."Are you sure you didn't record that video earlier and just forget about it?" We all got a good laugh! Really helpful video!

Where were you 10 years and about $100 ago?? I could have saved a lot of money replacing these things if I had known how to fix them! Thanks for the extremely useful video!
