I worked at Piggly Wiggly from 69-71 as a sackboy. I started at $1 an hour. I was making $1.50 an hour before I quit.

I miss a store called Red&White. It was primarily in the south. It was family friendly and community based. Looking at this video does take me back to the era of Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie, Bi Lo, Dorschers, Big Star to name a few. Pathmark, Food Emporium, Superfresh & A&P was all the same company until A&P went under, but SuperFresh still remains in NY & NJ & is still in business

I sure do remember & miss Pathmark dearly, everything was always fresh & clean, i wish they were still around today 😊, i ❤ed they whole milk, stayed fresher much longer & tasted much better, this is back when food was real & not plastic ❤😊
