Speaker Review and Comparison: EV ELX115P and Behringer Eurolive B215D Speakers

Nice, I almost went with the B212D but ended up with EV ZLX12P tops instead.  I like them a lot so far, and the sound quality of your video was pretty fair played through one of them...  Keep shining bro!

You said both are plastic housing. That is incorrect. The EV ELX 115P is a plywood cabinet. That feature alone will improve the low end frequencies not to forget that you turned down the bass on the Behringer at the start of the video. Also, the power ratings are different. So not really comparing like with like. 25% more power in the EV's. Not to mention EV's pedigree as a speaker manufacturer. Also, the distance from the speaker is important. Recording right in front of them tells you very little. It's at a distance that you will notice the difference in headroom, dispersion and the distance the sound is thrown.

Contemplating on these behringer for now then upgrade gettin good price two for 350 one alone 350 what you think. Worth it? Next year qsc. 12 inch? Any advice id appreciate
