This song holds a special place in my heart. The night this song premiered on YouTube my ex and old friend of a long time walked out. I remember sitting in my car, in the dark, not really knowing what to think. I clicked on this song probably just looking for any kind of positive emotional release. But as I was listening for the first time, I simultaneously read the lyrics. At that moment those words "You'll Get By, While I Get Better" really resonated with me. It was what I needed to hear at a time that couldn't have been more perfect.

As it currently stands my life got A LOT better, while from the last I heard my ex is quite literally just getting by. Thanks Real Friends. Thanks.

I Definitely Relate to this song. I lost count of the apologies I have done. This Pandemic really fucked with me mentally on a whole new level. But finding music has really helped me.
