There's more bad news for Flair Airlines following the seizing of multiple of their aircraft. The airline has kicked back with a lawsuit towards the company in question for seizing their planes. However, this is far from the first difficulty experienced by the Canadian airline that believes many airlines in the market don't want to see it continue flying.

I've flown Flair thrice and had a delay each and every time by about 40 mins; with that being said I've really spent over $125 CAD a flight and their staff at check in, online, phone and on air crew are fantastic and my bags have always arrived extremely fast upon landing.

Despite all the noise I'm set to fly with them again next month happily.

I have flown twice on them, on a trip to New York. Staff were kind and respectful, and both flights arrived on time. Only flaw was their online services being a bit glitchy, but other than that it was a great flight.

I had flown Flair from Toronto to Saskatoon after visiting my fiancé in January. For my first ever experience on Flair airlines, everything went well. It was on time there was no problems, and everyone was nice.

Flair worked well for me on one flight but recently has been unreliable. A friend got stuck in Winnipeg because the flight was canceled

Canada is a notoriously tough market to operate in as an airline. Best wishes to Flair

Flair has always been fair and consistent with me. Hope they do good.

We had one of these blockaded by a snow plow at YKF, sucks for them, but we didn't need to wait for wake turbulence so it's no skin off of my nose. They have a bad reputation at our airport because of flight F8 501, but I think all of the student pilots would love to work for them, and it's always a joy when you see them moving about our relatively small airport

Two of Flairs Maxs were stored in Marana until recently. They were leased(?) by Sunwing Airlines and flown out a couple of weeks ago.

flair is a very fair airline, helping many people to travel in low cost, I hope they can succeed and screw Air Canada in their own backyard lol

Their on-time performance and communications are abysmal. But when they do fly, the service is cheap and pretty good.

They have also wet-leased some aircraft since their aircraft seizures (like C-FHNM) to replace capacity. No one seems to be reporting that.

Many years ago when WestJet (WJ) was about to begin operation, the Federal Government stopped WJ's operations, many believed that Air Canada (AC) had a hand in this cease operations order as at the time, AC pretty much had a monopoly on cross Canada air travel. I wonder if WJ has some influence in the aircraft leasing world and if could this be payback?

Flair is the only discount airline that flies about twice a week in summer from Toronto into Saint John NB at reasonable prices as AC charges nearly as much to go to the far corners of the earth as to Atlantic Canada and would appear to seek abandonment of service to smaller points altogether when there is NO OTHER MEANS THAN CAR of getting there.

I like your video I'd like a flare airline to be like Southwest and they need to put pressure on air Canada And I think that will even up the market in Canada This is David from Atlanta keep up the good work

777 partners also supplies aircraft to BONZA in Australia. Lets hope they don't have their aircraft seized. As for Flair, hopefully they can make a comeback as they are a crucial player not only in the Canadian Low Cost Market, but also the broader North American Commercial Aviation Market.

Air Canada and WestJet monopoly is not good for the Canadian travelers. This is illegal.

I have flown Flair 4 times and am happy with the service. AC and WJ charge ridiculous prices for all of their flights while Flair was less than half the cost. I have no doubt that they are behind all of Flairs problems. Competition is a dirty word in Canada these days. Also AC and WJ use Dehavilland Dash 8 turbo-prop aircraft while Flair operates newer 737`s at least in Western Canada. More than double the ticket cost for a Dash 8 versus 737`s. You know the ones where you walk onto the tarmac in all kinds of weather? No contest..
