I think Would by AiC deserves a spot. One of the most iconic bass lines of the 90s!

Ian analyzing Guy Pratt’s bass line on “Like a Prayer” makes this worth the watch alone! Thanks bass

Ian is SUCH a cool dude, and I love how passionate he is about what he's talking about. Congrats on the collab, Spector!

Eddie Jackson from Queensryche has the best bass tone of all time. Period.

Doug Wimbish is a old school Spector guy and everything he does on Living colour's Stained is killer! And Ed Jackson from Queensrych is criminally underrated. Eyes of a stranger just might be a perfect bass line.

God I love Flea’s Spector tone. Knock Me Down hits the spot

Jet City Woman by Queensryche was an early tone inspiration for me way before I had even heard of Spector and now I’ve owned 3 and Spector is the sound I’ve always heard on record and in my head and now in my hands!

Pantera - Walk... The growl of that Spector and the fact that Rex is playing FREAKIN CHORDS.... 🤤

Owned a jazz bass for a decade never was satisfied because EVERY major tones I ever loved on songs were played with spectors. I played my first Euro and Ethos 3 and a half years ago in a store. I absolutely fell in love with both the gorgeous body, finishes and TONE!

I work in a guitar store and an Euro lt came through our doors. I cannot wait to bring it home 😍.

Love Spector basses they're perfect for me

And that interview with Guy Pratt was AWESOME! I love that man! As a player, they don't make them tastier and I could listen to his stories all day long & twice on Sunday! Nice job!

So glad you referenced Sting’s Spector. That sound was so dialed on that tour. Synchronicity 1 is even more badass.

I definitely lose myself to another dimension when I pick up my bass, but I don't know anyone that has much fun playing bass as Ian 😊Such a joy to watch and learn from. Keep up the great work, Ian!

I was a huge Jason Newsted fan growing up and I always wanted one of his Spector signature basses, shame they never made it to production.

As soon as you mentioned Queensryche I could hear Eddie Jackson's bass on "Spreading the Disease" killer chorus bass line.

I always dreamed of having a Spector Bass since I saw one in a German Musician Magazin in the early eighties and now a half year ago I finally made it and got myself a NS-5XL and it sounds just like: "Aaaaah ....
.... and you nailed the soundpossibilities on those great basslines perfectly! Thank you, Ian! Such a pleasure!!!
