I’m sorry to hear about this man’s passing, praying for his family. But this is just summer in Texas. I’m from here and I’m in the construction business. I’ve worked without air conditioning and outside in the heat every summer. Hydrate, use fans, but listen to your body. I’m 70, I hand sanded drywall all day today without ac. I’ve done it year round all of my adult life.

Amazingly workers made it though the 1000's of years without A/C. Hydration is not taken seriously by many heat stress victims. But yes, UPS is upgrading thier trucks to have A/C, but it will take years. Ya'll don't really care though because if your package is delayed yoo are on the phone or writing emails complaining. The time pressure comes from YOU. Get ready for higher shipping prices, and don't dare squeal about it.

I feel sorry for UPS/Amazon/USPS..DRIVERS, There is no AC in the vehicle. These companies are greedy. As a customer, I am willing to pay more for shipping during summertimes. Provide AC in the vehicle, please.

Ice chest stocked water. I went 5 days without air conditioning in my semi. Calark central hauling refused to get me in a shop within 500 miles. Not even their own shop would approve me getting repairs or borrowing a loaner truck for more than 3 days.

I was a UPS driver 23 years.. Heat exhaustion was a dangerous normal thing during the summer. Those guys need A/C!! Cmon UPS!
