I'm actually blown away by how amazingly well this Dreamcast emulator runs. Buttery smooth performance. I remember when I was young around the '06 era, emulators such as Chankast and NullDC were the two recommended DC emulators but the setup was a pain (least for 10 y/o me at the time) and even when set up correctly, the games were a hit or miss on if they ran good or not. I'm highly impressed how far emulation has made it for the Dreamcast and so glad I decided to re-visit the Dreamcast emulation scene and stumbled upon Redream and this video. Thanks a bunch for the tutorial/setup!!!

Pretty impressed, runs full speed on my thin client (I use it as a HTPC), and installed a GT 1030 into. I didn't think it would have had the CPU power to pull it off, but it does quite easily. Now just need to test systems that require a bit more juice.

Many thanks for this. The Dreamcast was the best console that I ever owned because of it's fantastic games and I miss playing them. I have tried other emulators and couldn't get any of them to work. Downloaded redream and opened it. Worked first time. it says that my game library is empty, so I went and got one. Just been playing Soul Calibur. Fantastic.

Godzilla Generations and Godzilla Maximum Impact won't show up in the game list and they are both in the .bin .cue format like all the other games I have for this emulator and they work. Why won't they show up? They are both compatible with this emulator according to the site.

why Dosen't the Emulator open? ive download it and extracted and then i click to open the emulator and it dose not open and it closes like in 1secs.. im i doing something wrong or is the emulator?
