good place but wrong doing it.
make a layer of stronger branches on top of the 2 trunks to build a plateau.

and after that u can build your shelter on the plateau. some more stronger branches to build a roof, many thinner branches to fill the roof and on top of that leaves or moss or a tarp...

all insects are unter the tree trunks and even heavy rain you stay dry because of your plateau

Remember...these same survival shelters are also used by bugs rodents and snakes. In a survival situation these my be more food than problem.

I try to avoid sleeping in a ditch. Water runs downhill. Snakes often do too.

Nice build sort of like a bivibag style shelter ….. but I hope this is for a few days and not just for one night, because all that effort for just one night and then leave it would be wasteful …… but it certainly would heat you up from all the activity

Given how incomplete this video is, I hope he finishes it. Otherwise, this seems like pointless damage to the tree for a do nothing video. Could have just as easily put branches across the trees and then piled them with brush. Less effort, less time, more insulation, wider coverage.
