but you're still on the GROUND, with the snow, mud, water, ants, thorns, rocks, roots brush, and one side of the shelter is open. All I have to do is set up the hammock and get into my bivy, if i'm not already wearing the bivy, that is. Shelters and fires are no help while you're hiking, getting water, food, firewood, or relieving yourself.
