Byju's, I have a doubt and that is like as you well said, " water in ocean scatter mainly blue / sky blue colour, right . So, in very very deep the light is just not going down in very deep part of ocean so it meant that it's not ( deep in ocean ) blue 💙 . So it can be like blank or even transparent. It appears brown because of the presence of silt and clay, as they absorb shorter wavelengths and red, orange and yellow, all three together appear to be brownish in color.

The coloration of coastal ocean waters is usually due to the soil that feeding rivers and bayous pass through. If the soil is high in organic, then it will tend to be more brown. Good example is the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The rivers feeding the Mississippi Sound are high in clay, and organic matter.
In either of these cases, the water isn’t actually yucky, it’s just got more going on underneath the surface.
