One of my all time Favorite classic rock tracks, with one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. Ian Anderson & Jethro Tull's masterpiece Aqualung.

I'll be posting a complete tutorial for this one is a day or two, including all acoustic parts and solo.

I first became aware of Jethro Tull after you covered the solo in you countdown. Thanks for introducing me to some great bands i may never have otherwise discovered.

Listening to this, I was struck how important the bassline is to this song - especially during the acoustic parts where its essentially providing a melody. Although the part is credited to Jeffrey Hammond, he only joined the band in January '71 and the album was released in March the same year, which got me wondering whether it was actually taken from earlier rehearsals with Glenn Cornick, as it sounds to my ear much more like the busier style on Benefit, than that on Thick as a Brick. Anyways, great job and keep up the good work :)
