Jackstand: here's a drivability mod for your boat: stick a big ol manual flywheel onto your engine instead of the flex plate! It'll make it start and idle wayy better, and will help the ignition timing stay stable, that was some harsh knocking I was hearing... A real flywheel with some mass will make everything better

Don’t count out those 2 stroke out drives they’re efficient at putting the power down and light as can be. I have a 200hp Mercury that surprises a lot of people while actually being able to have a nice bench seat in the back.
