I think mass producing the NOVA bomb might've been a better usage of research resources than the SPARTAN program. I mean, if each UNSC fleet had even one of these, they would've actually had an even fight with the Covenant.

This Nova bomb is extremely OP.
If you think about it the UNSC have multiple mass destructive methods like the Nova Bomb they could have adapted during the war.
Such as Fusion reactor detonation and detonating Slipspace reactors.

I think the idea is to simulate a supernova explosion, but I doubt the explosion of nine hydrogen bombs have enough yield to reach supernova explosion levels?? The super dense core could however act to rebound the explosive energy outwards somewhat like a nuclear shaped charge directed outwards!!!!
