What a reaction !!!! Dimash is such a genuine and authentic artist that he has never satisfied with the past. He always tries something new and gives the audience new experiences and anticipations !!!

Как я поняла, сегодняшний эстрадный вокал требует от исполнителя нечто большее, чем выйти и спеть, используя голосовые данные. Появление Димаша наводит на мысль о том, что процесс пения требует участия в процессе всего организма. Хорошо скоординированное и полнокровное участие в процессе вокального исполнения не только голосовых связок, но и умение управлять своим дыханием, эмоциями, проживание песни как цельного мини спектакля и ещё многое другое – таковы требования времени к исполнителю. Производное всех этих "участников" процесса пения имеет мощное воздействие не только на слух, но и на ум зрителя. Поэтому время способствовало появлению понятия "перформанс", которое вытесняет понятие "в исполнении такого-то певца". К сожалению, я далека от музыки и вокала, но надеюсь, что чуточку помогла донести до русскоговорящих основную мысль D. Marc Reynolds. Заодно проверила и уровень своего понимания английского. Ваши замечания мне вовсе не помешают, друзья.

I personally prefer his ADAGIO in Singer competition 2017. Just have a look at it. Absolutely stunning.

You are absolutely right: Dimash was quite nervous at that performance. Most of the audience listened to him for the first time and he was not sure how he would be accepted there.

On May 12 there will be the Moscow concert video broadcasted ( in Kazakhstan and Russia). I hope it will be then available at YouTube and you will be able to view this absolutely stunning performance and see Dimash relaxed, admirable, funny in the very warm and friendly atmosphere with a lot of support from the audience ( Dears from 56 countries gathered in Moscow for his 2 concerts at the Kremlin hall). There were some new songs released, Dimash danced, sang together with Dears, joked... I was there at both concerts. It was absolutely fabulous! That is really worth seeing...

I just love your reactions. You are always right on. I personally think that it is cool to see Dimash give a different interpretation of Adagio than the one in the Singer competition (that one was epic). It is bound to be different as this rendition is outdoors with a bigger crowd. The song may not be as dramatic as the Adagio from the Chinese competition but the emotions are all there as always . There is too much reverb though. The bear claw does not bother me. Actually what always fascinates me is the way Dimash uses his hands. Not so much here but most of the time he will mimic with his fingers what his vocal cords are producing, quite amazing to watch. Dimash is a tremendous performer and unbelievably talented singer, which is why his career will be long and fabulous. I can't wait for your next Dimash reaction!

Thank you for your comments. During this performance there were tech failures, but he never failure no matters what ... is he sick, tech problems or whatever...he will do the best of the situations....

I think I could do without the knowledge about what Dimash was dealing with during this performance. I remember it too well. Lets just say that the sound engineer goofed at the beginning. Regardless, Dimash went on beautifully like a professional that he is. I'm with you on what I couldn't do without: it's Dimash.

I personally love this version more than I’m a singer. Although there is a technical problem here (sound effects, music rhythm, etc), his vocal is outstanding here. He has so much control than what he had back in I’m a singer. Everything from his vocal seems balanced and consistent here.

Wow. To me this is the best he's ever sung it, ever emoted it, ever pronounced of the words where I could understand more. He's getting better and better each time. I also liked his tone on the high notes more than in the past on this song.
