If you want to be smacked in the face with more amazing harmonies, check out their Mary Did You Know. I’m not even that fond of carols but that literally brings me to tears EVERY TIME.

(yall are too nice 🥺 thx for the likes)

Them singing "Mary did you know" was the first time I've ever been wowed speechless by music. Beyond incredible.

I also think it's worth noting that, yes, the bass singer can sing really low and it's so powerful and clean. But my dude is up and down the scale for that whole song. He's jumping almost an entire octave during the chorus back and forth, and that is SO HARD to do! So much respect.

if you're interested in more pentatonix, The sound of silence and can you feel the love tonight are my personal favourites 😊

Their ‘Mary did you know’ cover is spine-chillingly phenomenal

Pentatonix is the closest humanity has come to the PERFECT combination of voices coming together to make music. Even when they change their line-up, they remain nearly perfect. It's like there's some music wizard that has magically brought these voices together. That sh*t doesn't just happen. There's some sorcery going on here.

Fun Fact: Scott takes over the bass line when Avi is singing his verse.

Pentatonix christmas songs are unmatched... the harmonies and mixing in God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Carol Of The Bells, Mary Did You Know, and Once Upon A December are actually insane

I'm really disappointed that Avi left the group. He is by far one of my favorite basses that I have ever heard (as a retired third bass myself. Lost my head voice in 2002 after a brain aneurysm. Not to mention that singing now gives me headaches). His bass line is so distinctive in this song and I love it.

They filmed this on a southern California dry lake bed. In late summer when it was about 110 degrees. Bundled up because this was for a Christmas album. Now that's dedication.

Avi’s low notes gives me such goosebumps every time!! it’s so sad that he’s no longer in the group

"Mary did you know" is a really good song, however I HIGHLY recommend their "Imagine" rendition. It is my personal all time favorite and will absolutely make you cry. It's incredible.

Whenever PTX hits the crescendo of any song, I cry. That wall of sound from their voices bores deeply into me. Since it's the Christmas season, I suggest reacting to their new release "The Prayer", or an old classic "O Come All Ye Faithful". Both well worth it.

Mitch's part always makes me cry. The emotion behind it is everything.

i feel like a little kid showing their parent a picture they drew right now. im 15 and i have listened to pentatonix practically my whole life, and hallelujah has got to be my favorite song that they have sang, and to just watch you listen to it… just ugh. it makes me so happy. i constantly caught myself waiting for your reaction on an amazing part i knew was coming up. you just bring me so much joy, thank you

This song brings me to tears every time. Kirsten on "marble arch" gives me chills each and every single time.

And immediately she starts on the harmonies. I love it. Plus this song is just too good for this world

Yeah, you're gonna cry. My eyes misted over in the first 30 seconds of the first time I heard this. When they rise to that crescendo it takes my breath away. Every time. The words "resonance" and "depth" were well-chosen.

This cover is amazing. Another one of their amazing covers is Bohemian Rhapsody, which shouldn’t be possible with a 5 person a cappella group let alone be one of the best covers of Bohemian Rhapsody ever.

“That’s Christmas to me” especially with the music video had my crying the first time I saw/heard it. Both emotionally and just because it was beautiful
