Good choices. One little plugin that impresses me is the Moog's new $50 Mariana, which gives a deep nice bass with modulation if you like. Sonible's new Smart EQ looks very interesting.

The Moog Mariana has to be one of my top picks for the year as I didn't expect a soft synth from them and was already waiting for a Minitaur, so it was exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the price.

As for Cherry Audio, I'm more of a Korg guy, so the PS-3300 was the most hyped I've been for one of their synths. I also like the free SEM, though, I also have their Eight Voice.

Speaking of Korg, technically released late last year yet I didn't get it til this year is their Korg Collection microKORG. The UI has more knobs to reduce menu diving vs the hardware and also have significantly greater polyphony as well. Plus, with it already being virtual analog, it seemed like the good idea to simply go with the software vs my hardware MS-20 mini.

Current is interesting but I certainly won't pay 199 for a feature stripped version of the extremly expensive subscription verson.

I think, in the spirit of top ten lists, i need to open my daw and go through all my software and treat it like hardware instead and consider what i really use and love and what i need to get rid of. i think i hit a point in the middle of the year where i just had too much and havent opened my daw almost the entire last half of the year.

P440 Sweet Spot by Pulsar Modular sounds amazing. Especially when making mid side mastering with two consequential instances.
