DIY expert Simon dared to take this step and built his new kitchen in an extension. To create a cosy atmosphere in the newly created room, he has chosen colourful, contrasting walls in a slightly earthy, beige tone. The extension is finished, the walls are plastered, only the paint is missing. And how best to apply this to the wall? Simon's “weapon of choice” is an airless sprayer as a fast and professional way to apply his new paint. In fact, he uses his trusty all-rounder, the WAGNER Control Pro 250 M airless paint sprayer, for precisely this purpose.

Great job! I agree with ceiling first to avoid drips on walls. You did a thorough job of covering ceiling before walls. Spraying leaves no brush strokes.

I learned from this video today, the paint needs to be deluted. I got my Wagner Airless sprayer today, tried to paint my room and I was a little disappointed why I have so many tail lines. After I add about 10% of water the spray pattern changed to nice and even with zero lines.
Thank you for an important tip.

Easy when the walls are perfect, and perfectly smooth.

I purchased the Wagner 250m for domestic use in a large property. It is an excellent bit of kit once you get used to it. Certainly will keep it and won't sell it on. A recommend from me.

Its also possible to spray ceilings first with a larger tip like a 515 and then change to like a 315 tip and shield and spray the walls. This way you just have to mask the floors if they cant be over sprayed, windows, doors, trim. With painting, each job presents its own set of challenges, not all you can approach the same way as the previous. There are variables. All painters know something and their ways seem like the “right way”. Its subjective to a certain degree. Yea, masking upside down I would avoid if I could. Rolling out all interiors, except new builds, not how I go about it personally. Removing outlet covers, spraying all of one color first, cross hatching is optimal imo. We can all agree, eye protection, long sleeves, gloves and a real respirator would have been choice here tho.

It's a little easier on the body over the long term, to spray the walls first and finish the ceiling after. Rather that mask the ceiling to do the wall. What I mean is it's easier to put plastic over the walls rather than then ceiling. Same system, different order.

BEAUTIFUL
I have always wanted to buy one of these... but have always use just a brush while painting...
I "Flip" RVs and rundown houses... 25 to date... Think of the time and money I could have saved!!!
I did "Try" a sprayer many years ago... and no one told me I should "dilute" the paint... I thought it was
the sprayer's fault. I have never tried again... Dang it!

No you use a spray shield taping over fresh paint will end up a mess. Best to cut the 2nd coat top by brush then spray shield when your near the top. Even low tack tape will likely peel fresh paint esp on ceiling flat

You guys are out of control :) Ceiling wall controversy lol. I wish I had this Wagner. My dad was a professional painter his whole life. I have a couple things he gave me, but I'm no professional. I've never used them but there is a Graco Ultra 395 High boy? and a I have a Graco 360 hand held. He even left me a taper thingy. I'm going to practice with water and cardboard a little bit. I saw him do it a lot as a boy'. I'm gonna have to watch more youtube. I became a nurse hahaha Wish me luck! I invested in 3 townhouses and I got this!

I can't say I like this guy's technique.

That will leave over spray on ceiling - there will be a slight off color where plastic was not put on ceiling. Also the way he put masking tape on ceiling - it will wick paint up and leave streaks under tape. Also if you put two coats or more, the masking tape will peel paint... more to it.

I spray the ceilings and brush/roll the walls. Best and fastest of both worlds

Can I use THIS Sprayer to paint a House?

I think I would spray the ceiling and cut / roll the walls. By the time you cover the ceiling with plastic and set up the sprayer you could have cut the walls and rolled them.

By the time you set the sprayer up. Masking tapped the sockets. Covered the windows. I would of had the room cut in and rolled, 😉. And don't forget cleaning out the sprayer when Ur done. I know got 20 years in decorating game, 👍
