I finally figured it out- it was because my computer kept going to sleep mode during the install (after the download was complete). Took all day, many hours and 3-4 tries but i finally sat there and made sure it didn’t go to sleep (also set the sleep mode to never) and it finally went to the next step to actually install. Hopefully it installs with no further issues 🙏🙏🙏 if anything fails, I’ll edit and update this comment.

I downloaded the install and then it said I didn't have enough free disk space...but the reduction in my storage indicates the download has taken place. It didn't update and instructs me to try again. I can't find the install file or folder to delete it.
