Alright, French animation studios need WAY MORE ATTENTION globally. Especially in America, where animation is still lacking in the respect it deserves

France have a huge culture for animation because France and Japan has always been culturally linked. French and Japanese see each other as the pearl of culture from the other side of the world. France started importing anime way before anyone in the west to the point that some politics tried to ban japanese animation back in late 80's (Segolene Royal 1988-1989). To be fair (a censored but still) Fist of the North Star was on national TV for kids. To this day, France is still the biggest anime/manga consumer in the world. Yes, even in front of the US, Spain, latino countries and Japan's neighbors. So France being good at animation ain't surprising, French have that whole culture. My own mom watched Dragon Ball when she was a teen and i'm 24.

I always wondered why I always absolutely loved Primal's animation, and now I know. French animation studios need more love :)

Can you help me, I m looking for a movie I saw when I was in school so around 2010, in which there is like en exploitation (maybe a mine) in like Africa and there is a huge tree the mc is a kid who want to protect the tree (I think he is a miner) but some people want to cut or burn the tree.
